I've made a start on gathering research for "
Past, present and future makers celebrate 30 years at Manchester Craft & Design Centre" (MCDC).
As this show is running alongside the Craft Centre's "
Collecting History" exhibition celebrating the launch of MCDC's 30th Anniversary, I have therefore chosen to make a piece which is directly inspired by the architectural details of the building itself, for these are what caught my eye the first time I visited this former fish market hidden away in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
